The Wildcats battled it out together with Gold Coast comrades against Kansas in the mud and rain at Parklands Stadium in a heroic effort against the touring All-Star team last Thursday night. The Wildcats sustained some heavy battle injuries, including Center Steve Webb, and Tailback "Aussie" Dave, which were quickly offset by the team's increased ferocity after the loss of key team mates.
